Can't link contacts in empathy or gnome-contacts

Description
Using empathy and skype4pidgin through empathy, I cannot link skype contacts to other protocols' contacts, neither through empathy nor through gnome-contacts. I thought it was skype4pidgin related, so I filed a bug there : http://code.google.com/p/skype4pidgin/issues/detail?id=180 , but Eion Robb replied that the issue was probably telepathy-haze related. I use archlinux up-to-date (latest gnome and empathy 3.2)
