haze may not be reporting the self handle's status correctly

Description
Empathy's Personal Information dialogue sometimes shows Haze accounts as being offline when they are not. Xavier tells me that Empathy just inspects the self handle's presence; it follows that Haze may not be doing the right thing with the self handle's presence.
