Some more feature requests (Zoom, merging/splitting related Nodes)
Some more attainable stuff
Since Helvum is based on Catia, I'm sure you're already working on zooming and splitting but I figured I'd mention it anyway. Objects are really too big right now so just setting the default size to something slimmer would be better in the mean time.
It would also be nice to be able to hide certain objects. In my case I have a Dummy Driver, Freewheel-driver, and Midi-bridge that I'd really like to hide from view. The first two are completely empty so it would be nice if those were hidden by default. By adding an object list to the side, people could un-hide or filter objects from view.
Later on down the line, VST and OFX plugin support would be nice, too.
Not sure if this is possible
I have a 5.1 channel setup so all applications show up as having 6 channels. One of the most common things I need to do is route channel 1 (my mic audio) from my mixer to Discord's first playback channel, but it will reset for different reasons and the first six channels of my mixer get sent to Discord. Since I have the audio from all other applications and the Discord output audio being sent to my mixer on different channels, people will hear themselves and my desktop audio until I re-route things.
Can Helvum potentially have a feature that mutes a certain amount of channels from an application or device so that stuff like that doesn't happen or does that need to be handled on Pipewire's end?
