Internal microphone doesn't work with Realtek ALC268 chipset if the level is at 23% or more in input tab of pavucontrol
I have this problem with Ubuntu 18.04, 18.10 and Linux Mint 19.1, on a HP Pavilion dv6700 and a Acer Extensa 5620Z, with a Realtek ALC268 chipset.
Audio is working well excepted with internal microphone.
If I'm using Alsamixer, recording works well. If I'm using pavucontrol, I can't record sound when the level is at 23% or more in input tab. I must set the level at less than 21%. If I set the level at more than 23%, the sound is recorded at a very very very low level or not recorded at all and I hear some crunches at the beginning, at the end and in the middle of the recording.
