Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9 3rd gen: no audio via USB-C
Warning
Missing data may cause bugs to languish.
Summary
The headphone cited in the title supports audio via USB-C entirely, but unlike in Bluetooth mode, these headphones tend to play no sound despite being chosen as output device via USB-C. This does not always happen (in some, rare cases they seem to work fine), but in the vast majority of cases (80-90%?). Volume controls work perfectly.
Environment
This seems to occur both in Fedora 32 and Solus 4. Log file: pa-info.txt
Steps to reproduce
- Plug in the above-mentioned headphones
- Play music
What is the current bug behavior?
No sound through USB
What is the expected correct behavior?
Audio via USB should work perfectly
