I wish pavucontrol and pulseaudio had options to fix a sample rate and not change it under any circumstances. It would save me a lot of time. I wouldn't need to use jack, cadence and the pulseaudio bridge anymore.
environment
This pa-info.txt is new and I have made some changes to the environment (because I needed to find workarounds). I didn't have jack or modifications to .asoundrc installed when I had this issue pa-info.txt
Steps to reproduce
Connect USB device, play youtube video, observe how the sample rate changes to 48000hz, do something else, changes to 44100hz.
What is the current bug behavior?
Sound distorted
What is the expected correct behavior?
Sound not distorted
