HDMI output always comes back upon resume from suspend, even if I turned it off in pavucontrol

Running GNOME 3.36 on Fedora 32, but this has happened to me for as long as I can remember in any version: in the "Configuration" tab of pavucontrol, if I change the profile for my Radeon GPU's HDMI to "Off", because I never output audio through HDMI and don't want that thing cluttering up my view in the devices, when I suspend and resume the computer it gets re-set to on, as "Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output".

I have no such problem with my motherboard or PCI sound cards, if I turn them off they stay off no matter what happens.
