Loading the Virtual Surround module crashes the PulseAudio server
Hello! I'm trying to see if I can get binaural surround to work on Kubuntu 19.10. But whenever I try to load
module-virtual-surround-sink, it crashes the server.
I'm loading the module like this (attempting to use the KEMAR dataset from MIT):
pactl load-module module-virtual-surround-sink hrir=/.../kemar-hrtf-full/elev0/R0e000a.wav
And I get this in the system log:
Jan 03 16:48:55 frostclaw.local pulseaudio: E: [pulseaudio] module-virtual-surround-sink.c: The (resampled) hrir contains more than 64 samples. Only the first 64 samples will be used to limit processor usage. Jan 03 16:48:55 frostclaw.local pulseaudio: E: [alsa-sink-USB Audio] memblockq.c: Assertion 'uchunk->length % bq->base == 0' failed at pulsecore/memblockq.c:288, function pa_memblockq_push(). Aborting. Jan 03 16:48:55 frostclaw.local systemd: pulseaudio.service: Main process exited, code=killed, status=6/ABRT Jan 03 16:48:55 frostclaw.local systemd: pulseaudio.service: Failed with result 'signal'.
Am I loading it wrong, or is the module broken?
I ran pa_info and uploaded the output here, in case that's useful.
