Audio jack automatic switch between headset and speakers not working in Cyan

I have an Acer Cyan chromebook (R11) and automatic switch between headset and speakers is not working.

I believe it should be easy to add support for this laptop. Here is a session of evtest recording the event when I inserted the headphones and removed it afterwards:
