Description
AS_IF([test "xenable_udev" != "xno" -a ( "x
HAVE_OSS" = "x1" -o "x$HAVE_ALSA" = "x1" )],
[PKG_CHECK_MODULES(UDEV, [ libudev >= 143 ], HAVE_UDEV=1, HAVE_UDEV=0)],
HAVE_UDEV=0)
AS_IF([test "x$enable_udev" = "xyes" && test "x$HAVE_UDEV" = "x0"], [AC_MSG_ERROR([*** UDEV support not found])])
This means that if both OSS & ALSA are disabled, udev check is never run. Then having udev enabled results in bogus '*** UDEV support not found' message.
Instead, it should probably output something along the lines '*** UDEV support requires --enable-alsa or --enable-oss-output'.
