Since 20.10 upgrade pulseaudio is randomly not detecting usb audio headset
Summary
Recently upgraded from 20.04 to 20.10 Pop OS in my case.
Since then my USB headset (hyperx cloud flight) are not working properly anymore. In 20.04 these were working just fine!
Sometimes I can either choose the mic or the headphones, sometimes it does not get listed at all in the sound menu. I did even a restore to an my backup from the last day, since I thought it might be a package upgrade. Somehow after restoring to my old state I could use my headset (still 20.10) but in the morning it was not working anymore. It is kind of random if it will work or not.
I think it is not related to the specific model but to pulseaudio since I found this thread:
- Latest Ubuntu (20.10, Groovy) messes up my USB headset
- [Tronsmart Glary USB headphones broken in Pop!_OS 20.10] #1027

Steps to reproduce
Upgrading from pop os 20.04 to 20.10. Did not reproduce yet and do not have a backup from 20.04 anymore. I guess this will affect in general 20.10 users, regardless of distro.
What is the current bug behavior?
randomly not detecting my audio inputs and outputs for USB audio devices Sometimes when booting with the USB donge the audio device gets detected and works as it should.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Detecting audio device when plugged in and showing them in the sound menu
