pacmd shows at least these names:

$ pacmd list-sinks | grep -e 'name:' -e 'index' index: 0 name: <oss_output.dsp0> index: 1 name: <oss_output.dsp1> index: 2 name: <oss_output.dsp2>

  • index: 3 name: <oss_output.dsp3> index: 4 name: <oss_output.dsp4> index: 5 name: <oss_output.dsp5>
