attempting to install a missing module from paprefs results in a crash

In brief, if one attempts to install a missing module (such as zeroconf) by clicking the Install... button in paprefs, paprefs will crash:

$ paprefs

(paprefs:20352): glibmm-ERROR **: 12:37:28.726:
