This feature has been on my wish list for a long time: #687 (closed)

Since earlier this month it is even more discouraged to use the XPDF api (via ENABLE_UNSTABLE_API_ABI_HEADERS) so it would be great if there is a way to set the poppler data directory via the C++ API. If this is possible, I no longer need the unstable API, which would be great.
