Unable to determine the session we are in: No session for pid
Hi, I'm trying to test hardening the security of the debian stretch. When I add an option for proc file-system in /etc/fstab as below.
proc /proc proc defaults,hidepid=2 0 0
polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 is not working as below.
(polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:16427): polkit-gnome-1-WARNING **: Unable to determine the session we are in: No session for pid 16427
So, I couldn't be authorized via the policy kit.
Maybe, I come the wrong issue board, any idea or comments?
I'm looking into the source codes of policykit-1-gnome-0.105
session = polkit_unix_session_new_for_process_sync (getpid (), NULL, &error);
if (error != NULL)
{
g_warning ("Unable to determine the session we are in: %s", error->message);
g_error_free (error);
goto out;
}
$ pkaction --version
