Check device timeout inside program to avoid mistake setting in AMD graphic card.

Hi @halfline : Based on the excellent discussion between you and Hans previous(!58 (merged)), Device timeout should set to 8 at the least to avoid the race between the AMD GPU probe code. so I think it's necessary to make a check inside the program to avoid potential mistake setting which let Plymouth failed to init AMD graphic display. Is it proper for you? please comment, thank you so much!
