Audio profile doesn't automatically switch to heaphone when wired headphones are plugged in - fedora 35 kde

I updated from fedora 34 to fedora 35 and I plugged in my wired headphone. The audio profile didn't switch to headphones. The sound setting does show additional input profile when I plug the head phone but it doesn't automatically switch to it. I have to manually click on it to switch to headphone from the desktop speakers.

Earlier this was not the case, when headphones are plugged in the profile would automatically switch to heaphones and direct the sudio to the headphones.
