rtkit kills pipewire-media-session when using Zoom's "Test Speakers" feature
This is on PipeWire 0.3.24. @gkiagia was very helpful on IRC and pointed me towards rtkit as the emitter of the kill signal.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect a Bluetooth headset and switch to the HSP/HFP profile. I have mSBC enabled, but it probably does not matter.
- Open the desktop version of Zoom (non-free, sorry), go to Settings, then Audio and click on "Test Speaker".
- Watch as pipewire-media-session receives a SIGKILL.
With the rtkit module disabled, I get this pipewire-media-session log (with PIPEWIRE_DEBUG=4), trimmed to show only the messages in the relevant time interval. Most of the messages appear when clicking on the Audio "tab"/section, but I think the "idle timeout" one gets printed after clicking the "Test Speaker" button (which is when things would crash if rtkit-module
were enabled).
