Issues with Sound Blaster Audigy card

On master (5817b66a) if I put the card into the "Analog Surround 4.0 Output + Analog Stereo Input" profile and connect the capture outputs to the playback inputs, I hear nothing. This doesn't happen if the card is in the "Analog Stereo Duplex" mode.

In the attached log (with PIPEWIRE_DEBUG=4), around 11:23:48 I change the card profile. Around 11:24:17 I connect capture_L to playback_FL (and nothing is heard at the output) and around 11:24:22 I connect capture_L to playback_FR (still no sound going through).

The card as shown by lspci is

03:06.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs EMU10k2/CA0100/CA0102/CA10200 [Sound Blaster Audigy Series] (rev 03)

This behaviour is quite flaky. If I leave the captures connected to the playbacks, I select the playbacks as the default sinks and make an app play sound through the pulseaudio API, sometimes I hear the sound from the capture inputs while the app sound is playing, and sometimes after the app stops playing I can keep hearing the capture inputs. Then, sometimes, if another playback starts, the capture -> playback stream breaks again. A log where I keep starting and stopping a pulseaudio playback stream (through the GNOME Settings speaker test utility) and the capture channels start/stop playing with such behaviour (to finally ending up being audible) is in the second log.

Please tell me if there's any other information I can provide.
