Incorrect Channel Mapping by Default Resurrected

Version 0.3.17+nightly-201207.fc33

On hdmi digital stereo I get sound out of all of my 5.1 speakers. Dialogue on podcasts comes out the center, music plays through all speakers, movies play through all speakers. I'm pretty sure my 5.1 receiver is upmixing (?) 2ch to 6ch. The gnome-control-center sound test also works fine on both front-left and front-right speakers. So I don't think there are any problems here.

On 5.1 surround I only get sound out of my front three speakers, which before I wasn't getting sound out of my center and rear-right speaker. Dialogue on podcasts comes out the center but also the left and right. The rear speakers do not play anything either while testing with movies (3f2rlfe) and music. All the speakers work in the gnome sound test however. The subwoofer even produces some type of hum not very loud at all though.

I ran PIPEWIRE_DEBUG=4 pw-cat -p 2>log and spat out a dot file too (if it's useful?).
