Issue created Oct 23, 2020 by Filip Szczepański@FreeFull

Firefox with pw-pulse stops being able to produce sound

Reproduction steps:

  1. Run Firefox with pw-pulse
  2. Navigate to http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/
  3. Go into Cookie Clicker's Options and make sure the Volume bar isn't at 0%
  4. Click the cookie a bunch of times in succession until Firefox's sound stops working

Looking at pw-pulse pavucontrol, there are a bunch of open Firefox playback streams lingering around, even though they should be gone. I don't think this issue was occurring until sometime after commit 2193d03e . The issue doesn't happen when Firefox goes through Pulseaudio's libpulse.so
