Description of Problem:
Whenever I enable the mSBC codec on HSP/HFP profile, a loud constant buzz starts in the headset. When playing sound, the buzz changes as if influenced by the sound, but the actual sound is not recognizable.
Headset microphone does not seem to record anything.
How Reproducible:
Any tim I enable the mSBC codec on HSP/HFP profile.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Connect headset
- Select the
Headset Head Unit (HSP/HFP, codec mSBC)
profile in pavucontrol
Actual Results:
Loud constant buzz in the headset when no sound is being played, garbled audio if there's any sound played (like the base buzz with the sound badly mixed into it).
When trying to record sound from the microphone, nothing is recorded.
Expected Results:
No background buzz and correct audio output into the headset. Working microphone input.
