TWS earbuds do not report battery status

PipeWire version (pipewire --version): 0.3.42
Distribution and distribution version (PRETTY_NAME from /etc/os-release): Arch Linux (latest updates from core)
Desktop Environment: Wayfire (wlroots based)
Kernel version (uname -r): 5.15.12

Description of Problem:

With experimental features enabled for bluetoothd, I can see battery status for my bluetooth headphones (Momentum 3), but there is no battery status reported for my TWS earbuds (Pixel Buds 2). Neither earbud, nor the case, can be made to show in a upower dump.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open case, connect earbuds
Run upower --dump or check the power section of gnome settings

Actual Results:

No entry/entries appear for TWS earbuds

Expected Results:

An entry for each component device (left earbud, right earbud, case if connected) appears within output
