Regression where only headset modes are available.

Description of Problem:
Somewhere between 0.3.40.r59.g1b06d4d7 and 0.3.42.r46.g65aadeb2 there seems to have been a regression where only headset modes shows up. Have only been able to verify with a pair of Sony WH-XB900N. The only modes available to select are of type "Headset Head Unit".
I have not been able to build and run the latest master yet.
How Reproducible:
- Install package software.
- Pair headphones
- Try to select a high-quality codec.
Actual Results:
Available codecs: "HSP/HSF" "HSP/HSF, Codec CVSD" "HSP/HSF, Codec mSBC"
Expected Results:
High-quality codecs to be available, as in previous software versions.
