-
PipeWire version (
pipewire --version
): 0.3.40 -
Distribution and distribution version (
PRETTY_NAME
from/etc/os-release
): NAME=Fedora VERSION="34 (Workstation Edition)" -
Desktop Environment: Gnome 40
-
Kernel version (
uname -r
): 5.15.6-100.fc34.x86_64
Description of Problem:
scenario: without jack server running the bluetooth headset is used and works well.
the problem is, that inside the patchfield of jack, there is no route to the bluetooth headset, only the default system output. therefore the sound from jack is routed to my loudspeakers or plugged headset. unfortunately no bluetooth connections available. i read a bit on the pipewire issue list, and it seems that i'm not alone with bluetooth issues. any idea how to play sounds through jack to bluetooth headset?
ps: i use the pipewire-jack emulation. the newest versions available from the fedora34 repos.
How Reproducible:
as described above
Steps to Reproduce:
- possibility to connect music device with jack patch field to bluetooth
Actual Results:
music from connected devices in jack play through loudspeakers or wireconnected headphone. no connection to bluetooth, only system. this is the loudspeaker or wireconnected headphone.
Expected Results:
music from connected devices in jack play through bluetooth. or all music (jack + local audio from audioplayer or browser) is routed to system-out. if bluetooth headset is connected, the whole music goes there.
