Description of Problem:
I have a Bluetooth phone (Pixel 6 Pro) connected to my desktop Bluetooth. When I attempt to make a phone call, on my desktop all I can hear is either nothing (when there is silence), or 100% static (when there is audio).
I also note that the profile shown in pavucontrol is "Audio Gateway (A2DP Source & HSP/HFP AG)". I recall when I was using PulseAudio on Fedora 33, I'm pretty sure for phone calls the source automatically switched to HSP or HFP.
How Reproducible:
Steps to Reproduce:
- Pair Bluetooth phone
- Make a phone call
Actual Results:
Unusable audio.
Expected Results:
Usable audio.
