TuxGuitar / Jack plays audio with a lower pitch
If you are filing this issue with a regular release please try master as it might already be fixed.
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment: 0.3.35, Fedora 34, KDE
Description of Problem: I use jack (the "original" one, not the one shipped by pipewire. I play a file via TuxGuitar / Fluisynth Backend and I record the video using simplescreenrecorder. TuxGuitar is set to a 44.7 khz audio rate, the same with qjack via qjackctl. During the recording, the pitch of the sound is OK. When I replay the audio via vlc, the sound of the video is around a step below the original pitch.
How Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
- Activate the fluidsynth tuxguitar plugin. Configure it to use 44.7 khz audio rate.
- Start simplescreenrecording and qjackctl using a 44.7khz. Record the audio / video.
- Replay the recorded video using vlc.
