Line in volume resets randomly
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment:
0.3.33, Arch, xfce4
Description of Problem:
I use Line in / Line out setup. Line out is connected to Windows machine on the same desk as Linux machine and sends the audio to its line in counterpart for sound mixing from both machines, since Pipewire handling of bluetooth is now superior to Windows one. I feed the audio from line in to module_loopback.
Problem happens without much of an interaction from my side. Sometimes, 1 - 2 times per day, volume resets from 10% (-60dB, which is expected value in that setup) to 100% to cause anything from unpleasant experience to potential danger of hearing impairment.
The volume resets on line-in input device (Built-in Analog Stereo / Line In (plugged in))
How Reproducible:
Have line in setup I guess.
Steps to Reproduce:
Random occurence. Will try to post some logs if it happens again.
Actual Results:
Sometimes your headphones explode.
Expected Results:
Volume for line-in stays the same value you've set it to.
