Fedora 34 pipeware. Jamulus uses device JACK, but I can't change input device: Jamulus forces internal microphone
In Fedora 34. I have an audio interface: usb device. It works to record sound in Audacity (via alsa eumulation I think). When I start Jamulus and connect to a server, Jamulus or pipewire resets the recording device to the internal microphone (which works, by the way). I have sound output to headphones connected to the laptop. That works too.
Jamulus has no configuration option for the JACK recording device. It assumes that you have selected the correct device. The only way I know to do that is with the Gnome Sound setting, but my choice is ignored when Jamulus actually makes an connection to a server. The setting in the sound control panel doesn't change.
