Pipewire breaks after restoring from hibernation
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment:
Arch Linux, PipeWire 0.3.29 with pipewire-pulse. GNOME 40.1.0
Description of Problem:
After restoring from hibernation, some applications no longer can playback audio (such as Spotify). My headphones are connected to front-panel IO, and my microphone (Blue Yeti) is connected via USB.
It's around 80% of the time, and different programs behave differently sometimes. Spotify seems to be the worst offender, but I've definitely seen Brave and Discord (all Chromium based applications) also not work. Firefox does not seem to be affected.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Hibernate using
sudo systemctl hibernate
- Reboot back (restore)
Some previously opened programs no longer play audio or can listen to my microphone (Spotify, Brave).
Previously opened programs to be able to play audio or listen to my microphone
Additional Info Eg.
pw-dump -N > file (As Attachment Please):
Possibly related issue: #902
Additionally, in most cases, Spotify works after simply restarting it. In some cases, I need to restart PipeWire to get it working again. I'm restarting it using the following command:
systemctl --user restart pipewire
