pipewire-pulse doesn't appear to work well on 32 bit. Similar built system works on 64 bit
If you are filing this issue with a regular release please try master as it might already be fixed.
Master, Debian, Weston:
Description of Problem: I build two ISOs with the same debootstrap scripts, chroot configs, package versions, commit hash versions, where the only difference is the architecture, x86 32 bit, and x86 64 bit.
The playback in the 64 bit one works but not in the 32 bit one.
I can play simple ogg files on both with pacat
, but it seems that video playback, such as from Youtube fails.
How Reproducible: Try to play a youtube video with a web broser
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable pipewire-pulse over pulseaudio
- play a youtube video
- observe that the browser fails to play. Video playback stops, and on Falkon YouTube fails to play the video at all. It works if I switch the 32 bit one back to pulse. pwcat.txt
Actual Results: The video fails to start. I get interesting errors like
