Consider making bluez5.msbc-support=true the default in /etc/pipewire/media-session.d/bluez-monitor.conf
Thanks so much for all the work on Pipewire!
I have a suggestion: make the default bluez5.msbc-support=true instead of false in /etc/pipewire/media-session.d/bluez-monitor.conf to enable mSBC as otherwise the sound quality is very poor with the default CVSD when using the microphone. The cause of the poor sound quality eluded me for some time until I stumbled across this setting and I think it will frustrate users who do not realise that there is a setting that can be changed.
There is a warning in the conf file: "mSBC is not expected to work on all headset + adapter combinations" as the reasoning for setting the default to false. Is mSBC not working with headset/adapter combinations still a common problem today? If it is uncommon, I think it makes more sense to set the default to the most useful value for the majority of users which would be true. People could still manually edit the file to set it to false.
