PipeWire Not Working with Pillars of Eternity

Distribution, Desktop Environment: Fedora 34, Gnome 40

Description of Problem: Pillars of Eternity crashes unless I use PulseAudio.

How Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install Fedora 34
  2. dnf install mesa-libGLU.x86_64 # Install missing lib
  3. Install Pillars of Eternity 3.07.0.1318. (I got it from GOG.)
  4. Run start.sh. Watch it crash.
  5. dnf swap --allowerasing pipewire-pulseaudio pulseaudio # Swap PipeWire for PulseAudio.
  6. Reboot.
  7. Run start.sh. Watch it run.

Actual Results: Pillars of Eternity crashes shortly after launch. Player.log

Expected Results: The application should start.
