Volume setting not restored when switching profiles
If you are filing this issue with a regular release please try master as it might already be fixed.
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment:
Pipewire version: 3.26 and master
Distribution: Manjaro KDE
Desktop environment: KDE
Description of Problem:
When switching between audio profiles, the system volume set in the previous profile is carried over to the switched to profile. Upon increasing/lowering the volume, the volume is is reset to what it last was on that profile.
Occurs every time audio profiles are switched.
Steps to Reproduce:
Since I'm having trouble wording the issue, here's an example:
- Audio profile 1 is set to 70% volume
- When switched to audio profile 2, the volume stays at 70%
- Adjust the volume to 50%
- Switch back to audio profile 1 and the volume will be at 50% instead of the 70% which it should be. As soon as the volume is increase/decreased it reverts back to 70%.
The last set volume for that profile is set when switching to it.
Additional Info Eg.
pw-dump -N > file (As Attachment Please):pipewire_dump.log
Thid seems like a regression in either 3.25 or 3.26 because I did not experience this issue with 3.24.
