Audio volume is reset on login, never remembered
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment:
0.4.1-2, Ubuntu 22.04, GNOME
PulseAudio is the main audio server for Ubuntu but we are also required to install pipewire-media-session
due to package dependencies.
Description of Problem:
Speaker volume gets reset to too loud on login. It's never remembered.
How Reproducible:
Almost always.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log into Ubuntu 22.04.
- Reduce volume to low or zero.
- Reboot.
- Goto step 1.
Actual Results:
Volume is too high on login.
Expected Results:
Volume is remembered as low or mute.
Other:
Commenting out the default-profile
module seems to fix it. I wonder since we specify with-pulseaudio
that should indicate that we don't want default-profile
and ALSA things?
