Would like to cleanup connection links... how is sorted the ordering of ports on a node? How best to fix it?

Hopefully this image is self explanatory:

I am wondering now how the nodes are populated with ports. Because as above, they are not alphabetical. So then the connections links are not able to be neatly organized. With lines must be crossing over.

Compare this to my previous patch bay tool (qjackctl)... in this previous tool, they seem to order the connection ports alphabetically. So this way the grouping can be somewhat organized by renaming the ports names:

What do you think? Is this something like a bug. Or is it something wrong in my setup, and you don't see it ever happen for yourself?
