The modem is not finishing the connection (eventually it is freezing)
Description
We are having some incidents with the modem Sierra WP7609. We don't know if it is only one problem, with different behaviors or if there are different problems.
-
For some reason, after the first successful connection, we are not getting signal strength updates. Even if the antenna is removed or the device goes to an area without signal, the modem keeps showing the same signal and the same state. (In the attached log, there is an error about the parse of the signal quality). But if we disconnect manually the connection, the signal strength is updated.
-
Sometimes, when the equipment tries to connect with weak signal, the connection is not finished, but it is not canceled either. The device keeps forever in the "connecting" state. Normally if we drop the connection and go up again (manually) it goes back works. However, eventually is necessary to reboot the modem (in this case, the AT commands don't work either).
It was attached a file with logs about the first case.
Note: We also work with models MC7304 and MC7354, but these models are working fine.
