vaapi bob deinterlacer produces wrong output height on AMD
Decoding any interlaced video via VAAPI and putting it through the VAAPI bob deinterlacer yields wrong video output that has half the size of the actual video. This affects any video player using VAAPI; I confirmed it with Kodi and mpv.
To try with mpv:
$ mpv -vo gpu --hwdec=vaapi --vf=vavpp:deint=bob video.mkv
yields:
same with MADI (--vf=vavpp:deint=motion-adaptive
); no deinterlacing works as well:
This was acknowledged to be a bug of the new compute shader implementation here, but I'm opening this issue to keep track of the status since I did not find a preexisting one.
