Low framerate and low GPU usage with ADM Radeon 280x
Hello, I have an AMD Radeon 280X whose GPU load is very low in all Linux games on Steam.
I noticed that the fans never make noises unlike when I was on Windows 7/10 with high GPU usage.
I migrated to Debian testing and unstable in order to benefit from a newer version of Mesa, but I didn't notice any difference in performance.
In some games, if I change the camera direction so as not to look at a complex scene, the GPU usage goes up to around 60%.
If I decide to set the graphics settings to low, there is almost no difference. For example, in Tomb Raider (2013), in the ultimate, ultra, high, normal modes, I get 12/15 fps. In low mode, I'm at 20fps.
Changing the resolution has no effect, the framerate is the same.
