[Anv][Intel] ARC A770 performance issues across games
Hello all, wanted to create this issue on Intel ARC A770 I am noticing on multiple games with Linux . thank you for supporting linux from the get go. Hope we can get it on par or better than windows with time.
System Information
$ uname -a

Running everything under steam + proton experimental Re-bar enabled in BIOS
DXVK (DX11 , DX9) games
God of War
With FSR 2.0 set to ultra performance (720p) internal (game at mix of original and high settings) , get 40-50 fps, looks like lower than windows by a significant degree
AC Unity
at any resolution tested from 1080p to 4k on 10-24 fps
Sekiro Shadows die twice
Guess to volumetric setting there are flashing red purple lights on screen constantly. and performance seems to fluctuate all resolutions
VKD3D-proton (DX12)
Touryst - A Simple voxel based game
Struggles to hit 60fps, can hit so on steam deck with ease at even supersample 1080p.
Games failing to start possibly due to lack of sparse residency and other vulkan features
- Spider man remastered
- Spiderman miles morales
- hogwarts legacy
- hi-fi rush
- Elden ring
- AC Valhalla
The surprising good runs
- Jedi Fallen order runs very well 3200x1800 at high
- AC Origins and Odyssey run pretty well at 1440p.
Here is hoping some of these issues can be ironed out before bigger games like Jedi survivor land this year.
