GravityMark performance on ANV on gfx9 is 10x slower than on Windows Intel VK driver..
Hi,
recently seen GravityMark devs got to test an DG2 card A370M and were able to get big speedups (vs using first DG2 drivers & GravityMark they tested originally DG2)..
on Intel Alchemist GPU using latest GravityMark and Intel latest Win VK drivers they mention:
+210% boots on Intel Arc in Vulkan (Windows).. (https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/gravitymark-v1-53-gpu-benchmark-mesh-shader-openxr.283466/post-4780242)
it's using v1.6.1..

I also tested using on Windows on an Intel HD 530 using on Win latest 3113 driver and GravityMark and get at 1600x900 nearly 9fps:

which seems between 25-40% faster than older HD 530 and 630 results in DB:

then wanted to test on ANV to see if similar results.. using same version but for linux (1.61) and recent Mesa master from Oibaf I didn't completed the 1600x900 run (run run_windowed_vk.sh from demo) as in benchmark fps were below 1fps so seems benchmark is 10x slower on ANV vs Intel Win VK driver..
joining @llandwerlin as seems he was involved on fixing ANV GravityMark launch problem: #4956 (closed)
thanks..
