Describe the issue
A mesa update (Most likely 21) introduced a regression for my integrated graphics causing the game Minecraft to become unplayable (chat bar flashes random colors and 98% of time the entire computer crashes). Staying on Mesa version 20 stopped this from occuring, but upgrading to Ubuntu caused the issue to occur again.
Regression
This issue did not occur on Ubuntu 20.04, but started occuring again in 22.04 (Occured on latest mesa).
Log files as attachment
- Unable to get dmesg output (full system crash, SSH may potentially work however [will test])
- unable to get backtrace (Do not know how)
- Unable to get GPU hang details (Do not know how)
Screenshots/video files (if applicable)
Video/Screenshot is impossible to give. See comment in Describe the Issue.
Any extra information would be greatly appreciated
I'm unable to get ANY log from the game, it just seems like the entire OS dies when it occurs. I'm also unaware on how to get the stderr log from Mesa.
