Describe the issue
After upgrading to Mesa 20.2.2 PES2021 becomes unplayable due to black/gray/orange coloured triangles appearing in the screen. Also in some games players have broken polygons (look like capes - images providedd)
Regression
Downgrading to Mesa 20.0.4 (it was the only version I had available in my Fedora 32 install) fixes the issue. Or downgrading just mesa-vulkan-drivers fixes the issue
Screenshots/video files (if applicable)
Any extra information would be greatly appreciated
Things I tried before downgrade:
- I have tried to disable all extensions introduced in Mesa 20.2.0 but the issue was not fixed.
- Updating just mesa-vulkan-drivers (20.2.2) brings the issue back .
- Changing from iris to i965 drivers does not fix the issue.
- Updating all mesa libraries to 20.2.2 but downgrading just mesa-vulkan-drivers to 20.0.4 fixes the issue
- The issue does not happen on my RX Radeon GPU, looks intel specific
Hardware:
GPU: Graphics: Mesa Intel:registered: UHD Graphics (CML GT2)
OS:
Happens on both Fedora 32 and 33 with any combination of kernel versions 5.8. and 5.9 . The issue is triggered if I update mesa-vulkan-drivers to 20.2.2 .
