GPU freeze making whole system unusable on Blender and Unigine Heaven
I am facing a problem while running Unigine Heaven benchmark and blender. In Unigine heaven if I enable anti-alising, the system freezes badly. Same goes with blender 2.90.1.
The whole system gets unusable until I kill my display manager (lxdm in my case):
sudo systemctl restart lxdm
The TTY works perfectly fine.
This problem only happens on my laptop with i3 6th gen processor. On my desktop however, with i3 4th gen processor, there's no problem.
Details:
I am using XFCE4 4.14 on Archlinux.
Kernel:
$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 5.9.1-xanmod1-1 (souravgoswami@archlinux) (gcc (GCC) 10.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.35.1) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed, 21 Oct 2020 01:11:20 +0000
Although I tried other kernels including zen and stock, the problem doesn't go away.

I would like to see this issue getting fixed. Blender is what I use a lot of the times, and it's been a long time I can't work on my laptop.
