Describe the issue
I am trying to run the game "Chasm" on Manjaro (I'm on a Thinkpad X1 Carbon 7th gen). It uses the FNA framework (https://fna-xna.github.io/).
When I start the game, the screen is completely blank (first white for a second, then turns black). I can hear music and when I press the arrow keys I can hear that I'm hitting some buttons and sounds play as a reaction, but everything is black. This happens every time.
The developers say this is probably due to an upstream bug through FNA and in mesa.
I couldn't find any open or closed bugs similar to this, so I'm posting a new one.
Regression
Never worked for me, but I've only tried it in the last 2 weeks or so.
Log files as attachment
Running the game from the terminal there are no errors or anything. dmesg
doesn't show anything suspicious at all either.
Screenshots/video files (if applicable)
Just imagine a blank, black window.
Any extra information would be greatly appreciated
If I remember right I had this issue with another FNA framework game a few months back, but I can't seem to recall the name.
