Incorrect size calculation example in drm-memory(7)?
The drm-memory man page has had the following example expression for calculating the size of a dumb buffer since it was first added in fd6b369d:
(height * pitch + width) * bpp / 4
I've been staring at this for a while now and can't make any sense of it. Am I missing something obvious? It seems like the calculation should just be height * pitch
, and at least one implementation in the kernel seems to agree with me.
