try lima driver on H3 (orangepipc)
Hi, I'm trying to enable lima on orangepipc on debian buster, with kernel 5.2.2
below are key components/steps.
1, linux kernel: 5.2.2 with additional patch to run on orangepipc.
2, mesa 18.3.6 download by apt source mesa
with all lima-18.3 patches, and rebuild as debs.
3, use modesetting driver, with option ksmdev /dev/dri/card1
system booted to UI, Xfce desktop, but abnormal.
no cursor, no menu....
glxinfo shows some abnormal:
libGL error: failed to authenticate magic 1
libGL error: failed to load driver: sun4i-drm
OpenGL vendor string: VMware, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: llvmpipe (LLVM 7.0, 128 bits)
OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 18.3.6
OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 3.30
OpenGL core profile context flags: (none)
OpenGL core profile profile mask: core profile
OpenGL core profile extensions:
OpenGL version string: 3.1 Mesa 18.3.6
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.40
OpenGL context flags: (none)

OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.0 Mesa 18.3.6
OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 3.00

4, use fbdev driver display fine, but I don't think this is the right way to use lima.
