touchpad:suspend tests actually suspend laptop, despite installing 50-litest.conf
Environment:
- XPS 15 9550
- Ubuntu MATE 18.04 LTS
- Packages updated as of 2018-07-22
- libinput compiled from git source as of 2018-07-22
- In Power Management, Laptop Lid Switch and Suspend Button both set to activate suspend
Steps to reproduce:
-
git clone
libinput and compile
-
sudo mkdir /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
; cp test/50-litest.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/
- Restart X11: logout/login, restart computer, or
sudo systemctl restart <display-manager>.service
sudo ./<build-directory>/libinput-test-suite-runner --filter-group="touchpad:suspend"
Expected behavior
- Test suite completes without effect on the computer's power state
Observed behavior
- Laptop immediately suspends
- Can be woken but will immediately sleep again
- After about 15 suspend/resume cycles, the test completes
