Non-finger objects able to trigger click on clickpad
For example, when I put my Bluetooth speaker on my clickpad and accidentally apply a bit of pressure on it, my clickpad registers a click. The same thing happens if I click the clickpad with a clean plate. Very weird.
Here are the yaml files, first my speaker, then my finger, clicking the clickpad, as opposed to merely tapping it:
Edit
After looking at a vimdiff of the two files, a simple check for an absolute position, or pressure, or BTN_TOUCH
, or... before letting BTN_LEFT
do anything should suffice. Also, I can do this ghost click with my eraser and my textbook. Yeah... this is definitely a quirk, since the clickpad should not trigger any clicks if there is nothing that can be mistaken for a finger on the clickpad itself (like how a drop of salty or soapy water makes a phone's touchscreen go haywire in terms of touch events; I know from watching YouTube on my Galaxy S4 while washing my hands when I come back from school).
