HP EliteBook 840 G6/8549 touchpad stops working after suspend
Summary
On HP EliteBook 840 G6/8549 (with latest BIOS R70 Ver. 01.03.03 10/08/2019) the touchpad works fine after booting the system and then stops working after suspending and waking up the system. When waking up the system, the touchpad continues to work with a large lag for 2-3 seconds, then stops working completely.
I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 with libinput at version b05e77e7 and linux 5.3.7 built from source.
Steps to reproduce
Suspend laptop. Wake laptop up.
libinput version you encountered the bug on
Bug happens both with b05e77e7 and Ubuntu 18.04's default version (1.10.4-1ubuntu0.18.04.1).
